Dr. Harold Kerzner, International Institute for Learning

Dr. Harold Kerzner, M.S., Ph.D., Engineering and M.B.A, is Senior Executive Director for Project Management for the International Institute for Learning. Dr. Kerzner’s expertise is in the areas of project management and strategic planning. Dr. Kerzner has previously taught project management and business administration at Baldwin-Wallace College, engineering at the University of Illinois and business administration at Utah State University. He obtained his industrial experience at Thiokol Corporation where he held both program management and project engineering responsibilities on a variety of NASA, Air Force, Army, Navy and internal R&D programs.

Mark MorganMark Morgan, StratEx Advisors, Inc.

Mark Morgan is Chief Executive Advisor and founder of StratEx Advisors, Inc., a consultancy focused on professional services in strategic execution and organizational transformation. Mark’s experience in converting strategy into action stems from 30 years of experience, including a 13-year career with IBM, 7 years as an independent leadership development consultant, executing 2 business startups and 10 years as a consulting educator in the field of strategic execution.

Mark has an MBA from Golden Gate University and a BS In Engineering Technology from California Polytechnic State University. He is PMP®Certified and a Stanford Certified Project Manager (SCPM).

Ludovic HauducLudovic Hauduc, Microsoft Project Business Unit

Ludovic Hauduc, the General Manager of Microsoft Project Business Unit, is responsible for product development and strategic direction. Ludovic has been involved with the Microsoft Project team since 1994. Prior to this role, he led the development team for Project Pro/Std, Project Server and Project Portfolio Server. Ludovic holds a BS in CS from ESIGELEC, an Electrical Engineering school based in France.

Ava Dadabhoy, UMT Consulting

Ava Dadabhoy is a Senior Vice President at UMT Consulting Group with more than 8 years of Management and IT consulting experience. She has assisted clients across several industries including insurance, banking, manufacturing, government, software, and logistics in designing and deploying effective Project Management and Project Portfolio Management solutions.

Ms. Dadabhoy has managed both business and IT projects in complex environments and she leverages this knowledge to provide value-based business solutions to clients. Ms Dadabhoy is an expert in project and portfolio management and has implemented UMT Consulting Group's Project Portfolio framework and the Project Portfolio Server tool in various organizations.

Ms. Dadabhoy joined UMT Consulting Group in 2001 and has led several key client engagements. Currently, as the co-lead of UMT Consulting Group's West Coast Office, Ms. Dadabhoy manages UMT Consulting Group's West Coast operations and is responsible for selling, planning, and leading Project Portfolio Management engagement in this region.

Prior to joining UMT Consulting Group, Ms. Dadabhoy worked for American Management Systems (now CGI) as a Project Manager on technology and business process re-engineering projects.

Ms. Dadabhoy has a BE in Management Information Systems and a BA in Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania.

Bruno LecoqBruno Lecoq, Microsoft Corporation

Bruno Lecoq, Director of Business Process within the Human Resource Operation Excellence group since 2006 – In HR, Bruno is responsible for oneHR Project Delivery Framework, which is the overall framework (Strategy, Plan, Deliver, Operate) on how HR runs its business. Prior to this role, he worked as a Localization Engineer and Business Process Manager across multiple divisions and product teams (MS-DOS, Windows, Exchange, Office, Hardware, Microsoft Supply Chain ) within his 17 years at Microsoft. He is Black Belt Six Sigma and is PMP trained.

Carl M. ManelloCarl M. Manello, Slalom Consulting

Carl Manello is a Solution Lead for Program & Project Management at Slalom Consulting. Carl is an experienced executive with over 22 years of line management, program management and operational experience in manufacturing, insurance, retail and non-profit industries. Over the last thirteen years, he has focused specifically on assessing, designing and implementing PMO solutions for corporations like R. R. Donnelley & Sons, Capgemini, CNA Insurance, Zurich Insurance, Sears Holdings and Motorola. He is currently working on his book Proactive Project Management, and is a contributing author to Dr. Harold Kerzner’s Project Management Best Practices.

Carl is PMP© certified, has an MBA from the University of Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business and has a BA in political science from the University of Michigan.

Eric SmithEric Smith, ProModel

As Director of Manufacturing and Logistics Solutions - West, Eric is charged with exploring clients’ needs and matching them to the appropriate ProModel solution. He provides simulation-based solutions to various industry sectors including: aerospace and defense, semiconductor, logistics, CPG and natural resources. His two favorite solution topics are portfolio analysis and strategic capacity planning. On ProModel assignment, he has executed projects in Europe and Asia-Pacific.

In 20 years of management, engineering and consulting, Eric has gathered experience from an array of technologies, products, and processes. All work has focused on delivering innovative solutions based on proven technologies. For example, Eric led a team of engineers whose successes with CAD-homologation studies established a new methodology as an integral part of product development. While a department head, he led new technology implementations and was responsible for their performance. In a marketing role, he carried out projects for maximizing portfolio financials against R&D resources.

Prior to ProModel, he held engineering and management positions at GM and VW. Eric earned MBA and B.S. Mechanical Engineering degrees from Brigham Young University, Provo. He resides in St. George, Utah with his wife, five children and ‘the’ Shih Tzu.

Eric UyttewaalEric Uyttewaal, ProjectPro Corp

Eric Uyttewaal is one of the foremost authors/trainers/consultants on the use of project management tools from Microsoft. He authored the bestselling book “Dynamic Scheduling with Microsoft Office Project 2003” and is working currently on a new book “Forecast Scheduling with Microsoft Project 2010”. Eric is founder and president of ProjectPro Corp, a company specializing in Microsoft Project and Project Server (www.projectprocorp.com).

Eric has managed many organizational change and management development projects. He has been involved in projects ranging from a few thousand dollars to programs of up to $150 million. The latter were for the Canadian Forces Supply System Upgrade Program, the Cognos (IBM) BI Suite release and a Northrop Grumman Airplane Upgrade program. Eric was responsible for overall program scheduling in these programs.

In 2009, Eric received an award from PMI for his “Significant Contribution to the Scheduling Profession”. In 1997, he was President of the Ottawa Chapter of PMI, currently serving over 1800 members. From 2001 until 2004 and again since 2009, he is president of the MPUG-Ottawa chapter.

Jim PattersonJim Patterson, EPM Live

Jim Patterson is currently the Director of Business Development for EPM Live. EPM Live is a Gold Certified Microsoft EPM partner that was named Microsoft's Global EPM Partner of the Year in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009. He has twenty years of experience in the sales, marketing, design, implementation and training of project management processes and systems. Prior to LMR, Jim Regional Sales Manager for eLabor, Inc. where he was the top producer in Enterprise Project sales, the product which later became the foundation for Microsoft Project Server. Before that he founded XPM Partners Consulting which provided project management systems and services in a variety of industries, and many of these implementations involved extending earlier versions of Microsoft Project to serve the needs clients across multiple projects, locations, users and organizations. Prior to XPM Partners, he was the general manager for the Project Management Systems division of Management Analysis Company, a leading consulting firm to the Department of Energy and energy/utility companies with a specialty in nuclear power.

Rocket Williams, UMT Consulting

Rocket Williams is a graduate of the University of Texas. He has been a project manager for more than 10 years and specializes in process management and PMO governance. His clients include Microsoft, Dynegy, California Motorsports Group, and The State of Texas.

In his spare time Rocket sits on the certification committee of the Puget Sound Chapter of the Project Management Institute and provides instruction to the chapter’s PMP/CAPM instructional staff. His certifications include; PMP, Microsoft Certified Informational Technology Professional in Enterprise Project Management, and a Microsoft Certified Trainer.

He currently resides in Kirkland, WA and is employed by UMT as an Implementation Manager.

Julie SanfordJulie Sanford, Pcubed

Julie Sanford is a Group Product Manager with Microsoft’s United States Information Worker, Business Marketing Organization. Her current focus includes the strategy development, planning, and execution of all USA integrated marketing initiatives related to the IW Wave 14 Launch – including Office 2010, Visio 2010, SharePoint 2010, and Project 2010 products.

Julie has over 13 years of experience leading the execution of marketing initiatives. She effectively blends her strong background in business strategy and leadership with a strong understanding of marketing program management. She drives successful market growth with her ability to align strategy and steer the execution of marketing programs. Her ability to influence and communicate with all levels of management, vendors, and peers create a high-performing team environment that is enhanced with impactful cross boundary collaboration.

Julie holds a Bachelor of Business Management degree from Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada. Prior to joining Microsoft, she held marketing and sales positions with companies in the United States and Canada. She made significant contributions to these companies in the areas of marketing management, partner marketing management, and sales leadership.

Scott ChapmanScott Chapman, Project Hosts

Scott Chapman is the President and CEO of Project Hosts, the leading

partner. Scott has been both a market leader and technology leader in
applications hosting using Microsoft technologies since 1999.
He has founded two hosting companies - the first was acquired by a public
company - and had a successful management consulting career with McKinsey
and Company. Scott holds a bachelor's degree from Yale and a PhD in Physics
from UC Berkeley.
